New York NY Senior Director - State and Local Tax Services The candidate will conduct day-to-day management of accounts by delivering all tax consulting services to the client and bringing in specialists, when necessary. Will have an opportunity to expand tax research skills via extensive tax research involving complex technical tax issues across a broad spectrum of federal tax law (e.g. Subchapter C, Subchapter K, consolidated returns, tax accounting methods, taxable and non taxable transactions, executive compensation, etc). Should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. MBA or MS in Accounting or Tax preferred. J.D./LL.M. a plus. CPA is preferred. Must have 4+ years of corporate tax experience. Experience with a Big 4 organization, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is required. Consulting and compliance experience is needed. Prior supervisory experience required.
