Washington - Senior Corporate Counsel

A Fortune 500 Company is seeking Senior Corporate Counsel preferably with 5+ years of legal experience (with at least 3 years at a law firm) to support the Business Development Group. The candidate will work closely with the company’s third party seller business to draft and negotiate strategic, enterprise and platform technology agreements and assist the business with client support and product development initiatives. Work on cutting-edge initiatives to make proprietary technology and transaction platforms available to retailers, developers, systems integrators, and enterprises. Will have primary transactional drafting and negotiation responsibilities on deals, and provide ongoing legal counseling and contract interpretation for senior executives and other business team members. Will be expected to participate in other company’s legal projects as directed, including the administration and resolution of legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries. A strong background in technology and the ecommerce industry is a plus. Must have a J.D. degree and be a member of at least one state Bar (preferably Washington). The ideal candidate should have a strong transactional and technology experience. In-house experience at a technology or internet company a plus.
