Atlanta GA Tax Senior Manager - Human Capital - Global Mobility
The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of complex expatriate tax concepts and effectively apply knowledge to various clients. Will develop and deliver quality services that meet or exceed client expectations. Identify business development opportunities. Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare quality, practical tax planning for the client's financial situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Be a leader in developing recommendations and implementation plans and make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas. Manage the work of client service team members and be an active contributor in attaining team goals.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related work experience OR a Master's degree and 7 years of related work experience. A degree in a related field is needed. Should also have a CPA, EA, or J.D. or other related experience or certification relevant to an area of specialization. Must have 6+ years of tax experience. Should have proficient knowledge of tax laws with specialized knowledge in at least one technical area. Must have proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and MS Office tools. The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations. Will develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Perform due diligence including review of tax returns, financials, and other tax documentation to evaluate potential tax risks and opportunities. Review and comment on tax aspects of financial models. Review and comment on tax aspects of purchase agreements. Coordinate with state and local and international tax team members, as well as financial and operational due diligence team members, to deliver highest quality integrated work product. Develop and maintain client relationships. Manage client engagements, from client interview, information gathering and documentation, to the creation of project deliverable. Generate business development leads and projects. Supervise and mentor staff members.

The candidate should have a CPA, J.D. (with Bachelor's degree in accounting, preferred), Master's in Taxation, or LL.M. degree. Must have 4-7 years of tax consulting experience. Should have knowledge of accounting and financial reporting. Legal 4 - 7 Full-time 2012-08-16

Atlanta GA Transaction Advisory Services Senior - Transaction Tax - M&A
The candidate will serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions that private equity and strategic corporate entities pursue. Will perform due diligence projects to provide a thorough review of corporate tax returns and financials needed to evaluate and calculate potential tax exposures. Review, assess, and advise clients regarding the tax computations reflected in their financial models, and assist clients in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tax data in their financial projections for the transaction.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related work experience OR a Graduate degree and 1-2 years of related work experience. An accounting major is preferred OR a Master's degree in accounting, MST or J.D./LL.M. would be preferred. Certification as a CPA, Enrolled Agent or Attorney preferred. Must have 2+ years of relevant tax experience. Tax compliance experience preparing or reviewing business tax returns preferred. Must be willing and able to travel, when necessary.
