The candidate will be responsible for the preparation, analysis and review of international corporate income tax returns, US and foreign partnership tax returns, informational returns for foreign corporations, financial outlook tax input and tax accruals. Will prepare and review the international components of the quarterly and annual income tax provision process including: review and analysis of the foreign tax packages completed by foreign controllers; incorporation of statutory international income tax provision calculations into the consolidated global income tax provision including evaluation of valuation allowances, tax attribute carryforwards, deferred tax calculations and the impact of purchase accounting; preparation of foreign uncertain tax positions and their impact on both the foreign jurisdiction and US filing jurisdictions; preparation of the inclusions to be recorded in the US related to foreign operations such as Subpart F income, Section 956, deemed dividends and withholding taxes; tracking of OFL, E&P and foreign tax credits; and preparation and analysis of cash flows related to international taxes. Director - Federal Tax Services
Responsibilities: Conduct day-to-day management of accounts by delivering all tax consulting services to the client and bringing in specialists, when necessary. Oversee complex tax research projects for clients across a diverse range of industries. Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business. Participate in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates. Conduct research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions and tax implications of financing techniques. Supervise assignments of professional accountants serving as Associates and Senior Associates through mentoring and performance feedback. Develop and motivate staff by providing them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. Assist with new business development, including add-on business.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business related field. CPA, Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certification required. Advanced degree like MST, MAcc, J.D. or LL.M. is preferred. 4+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent gained working in law firms or industry. Proven, excellent interaction skills with management / significant executive presence. Prior Big Four experience a plus. Working experience with FAS 109 and FIN 48 a plus.
