Corporate Counsel

Richardson TX Corporate Counsel Duties: Draft, review, edit and negotiate customer contracts and related documents to facilitate the sale/licensing of RealPage s products and services to our customers. Create new forms, and revise existing forms, of customer contracts to support consistent expansion of products and services and to promote process innovation and efficiency. Liaise directly between the Sales and Legal Departments to manage, facilitate, track and ensure efficient processing of a large volume of customer contracts. Qualifications: JD Degree, with Bar exam pass is required. 3+ years of practical legal experience, gained with a sizable company. Experience in transport, marine or logistics industry preferred. Professional certification may be required in some areas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent time management abilities. Extensive Knowledge of Government Regulations - maritime compliance law, including knowledge of FMC (Federal Maritime Commission); CPB (Customs and Border Protection); and ACI (Advance Commercial Information, i.e., Importer Security Filing, 24-Hour Rule, Shipper's Export Declaration/Automated Export System).
