Corporate Attorney The candidate will be preparing and filing government reports. Will be drafting legal documents. Reviewing new business relationships with vendors and subcontractors. Guiding managers on regulatory and compliance matters. Analyzing legal issues relating to proposed products. Representing the corporation before administrative boards and court trials. Providing supervision to outside lawyers hired to assist the corporation with their specialized legal services. Structuring joint enterprises with other organizations. Assisting management on general contracts, third-party agreements and vendor supplier relationships. Managing external counsel and general litigation. Ensur compliance with trademarks, patents, intellectual property and trade secrets. Create business legal reports and correspondence, and effectively presents information to senior management. Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies, customers and the business community. JD degree required from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association is needed. Must hold an attorney s license in the State of Texas. Should have 7-10 years of corporate law experience. Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills. Ability to adjust and/or stray from regular work routine in order to accommodate customer s requests is needed. Ability to facilitate the development of others' knowledge and skills by providing timely feedback, enhancing self-esteem, listening with empathy, asking for involvement, setting challenging attainable goals and providing necessary resources and guidance to help them reach goals is needed. Ability to meet and/or exceed customer s expectations regarding quality and consistency of service provided is needed. Establish a course of action for others to accomplish a specific goal. make decisions quickly based on available information by taking action and staying the course of the decided action. Ability to influence the actions and opinions of others in a desired direction is needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel Advanced, PowerPoint and Outlook is needed.
