Managing Legal Counsel- Commercial Duties: Build, lead and develop a growing and internationally dispersed team of commercial lawyers, ensuring consistency, responsiveness, productivity and quality output; Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including global master services agreements, other client agreements, licensing agreements, subcontractor and partnership agreements and nondisclosure agreements; Drive both turn-around of current high volume contracting needs as well as horizon scanning for new issues and/or changes impact commercial agreements. Manage and maintain form go-agreements, including vendor and go-to-market agreements. Implement and help develop and champion contracting and other policies and processes, and provide assistance to seek approvals on deviations of contract or other policies; Team successfully and integrate fully into Global Legal Team to resolve or support resolution of complex legal issues and to serve as a senior-level bridge and point of contact between functions and business for resolving legal issues; Develop and maintaining the Legal Team commercial, IP,know-how and template approaches Perform other duties as assigned or required. Requirements: 15-20 years of commercial contracting experience with international exposure. 5+ years' experience managing a remote and international team of contract an/or procurement attorneys. Experience with a reputable law firm and prior relevant in-house experience in a top-tier consulting firm, other professional services firm or large corporate required; Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to deliver presentations to large audiences; Superior analytical skills and creative problem solving ability, with an appreciation for striking a practical balance between business and legal objectives and for big picture capabilities in problem solving; Talent for absorbing new skill sets and areas of expertise quickly and comfortably and the flexibility to deal with a diverse international set of clients and advisers;. The ability to quickly comprehend complex sets of international laws and regulations and interpret those laws within the context of BCG ?¢s global policies; A positive, dynamic, client-focused approach to legal practice; The ability to occasionally travel, both domestically and internationally; Fluency in other languages (eg German, French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese) is preferred; Ability to join teams and build relationships throughout a loosely structured organization; Self-motivated, takes initiative, possesses creative problem-solving skills and willingness to offer suggestions for improvement; builds relationships to leverage resources; Demonstrated diligence, attention to detail and technical intuition; Service-oriented, flexible, positive team player; Organizational skills and composure: ability to juggle multiple initiatives and short and long term priorities in a challenging fast paced environment; Judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information; trustworthy; Ability to focus on the most critical issues that have the highest impact on the organization and business needs.
