Corporate Legal Counsel

Corporate Legal Counsel The candidate will review and negotiate complex commercial transactions and agreements including licensing and information technology agreements. Will provide compliance guidance and support concerning information technology, privacy laws, home sale transactions, marketing, financial services and other issues that arise on a day-to-day basis. Review and negotiate license and software as a service agreements, software implementation and development agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. Interact daily with personnel across the Company regarding a broad array of compliance issues including those encountered in the home building industry, the mortgage and title businesses, and digital marketing industry. Review marketing materials and programs for privacy and other compliance issues; draft documentation as necessary. Coordinate with other groups within the Company and its affiliates including compliance, finance, and information technology, as necessary. Analyze federal and state privacy statutes and regulations to develop and revise practices and procedures, including the Company s privacy policy. Must have Jurist Doctoral degree (J.D.). Should have 3+ years of corporate experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Experience as corporate attorney in leading law firm is preferred.
