Corporate Counsel Duties: Responsible for management of the company s compliance program, including monthly reports, statistical analysis, coordination with company s subsidiaries in North America and Japanese parent company, implementation of parent company s compliance policies, preparation of internal compliance programs, and implementation of e-learning. Will eventually be responsible for a variety of additional legal matters, including corporate and litigation matters. Ensure that the Legal Division implements policies and practices enduring the highest ethical and governance standards. Review implement and manage all aspects of the company s compliance program, including program design, information gathering and monthly reporting, statistical analysis, investigate, analyze and provide recommendations regarding compliance matters. Review and update the company s code of conduct and related policies periodically to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to the corporate group s businesses. Provide guidance to management and employees regarding various compliance matters. Review and evaluate compliance matters within the organization. Research, analyze and advise internal clients on a wide range of relevant compliance topics, as may arise from time to time. Coordinate all compliance matters with Japanese parent company.

Qualifications: Admitted to practice in New York. 2+ years of experience in law firm and in-house is preferred. 2+ years of experience drafting compliance policies and procedures. Experience with antitrust, employment law is preferred. Strong cross-cultural relationship skills. Bilingual in Japanese and English required.
