Corporate Counsel The candidate will: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the success of business processes and implement improvements related to legal and risk management issues. Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents. Provide counsel and guidance regarding the Company s compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and with the Company s policies and procedures. Monitor and communicate developments in relevant law, regulations and interpretations. Anticipate and identify legal issues and proactively develop effective and practical legal strategies and solutions. Author correspondence, legal memoranda, policies and reports. Provide advice in other specialized practice areas as assigned by supervisor. Handle special projects as requested by management. Should have 3-5 years of broad-based transactional experience to: advise internal clients on the operation of the business; and draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts. Experience advising business partners in one or more of the following substantive areas is preferred: procurement, logistics and supply chain management; consumer protection regulations; vendor compliance; finance; and/or 34 Act reporting. Must have J.D. from an accredited law school; member in good standing of at least one state Bar. Should have strong track record of professional accomplishments.
