Corporate Attorney The candidate will research legal, regulatory, and compliance matters; establish procedures, review contracts and handle other legal matters, as deemed necessary. Researches, analyzes and interprets insurance laws, regulations and court decisions to determine effect on PURE products and procedures. Works closely with required functional areas to determine the business impact of changes in these areas and to implement required changes. Coordinate and oversee the compliance function. Review marketing materials. Draft and review contracts, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
The candidate should have JD degree. Admitted to U.S Bar. Must have 8-12 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house with an insurance company. Understanding of property & casualty insurance, preferably in personal lines insurance. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to analyze laws and regulations. Ability to work on multiple tasks and assign priorities to each. Ability to exercise sound business and legal judgment. Interpersonal listening, written and oral communication required. Excellent deadline management, analytical and research skills essential.
