Corporate Counsel - Privacy The candidate will be reporting to our Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy - Americas. Will assist all Match Group brands in North and South America (Tinder, Match, Hinge, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish ).Participate in the development of Match Groups privacy strategy to meet changing global privacy requirements. Work hand in hand with internal stakeholders to design new features and services in line with applicable privacy laws and best in class privacy controls,. Communicate and ensure understanding of, and compliance with, applicable privacy laws, regulations and Match Groups privacy strategy as new products and features are developed, Develop, maintain and communicate privacy policies and procedures as part of the ongoing evolution of Match Groups privacy strategy,. Draft and negotiate privacy terms as well as provide guidance to the legal team and to business partners. Assist with ongoing review and update of internal trainings on legal and regulatory requirements relating to privacy, as well as best practices. Should have JD from a top-tier law school,. 2+ years of privacy experience at a top-tier law firm, in an in-house role a plus, Exposure to EU GDPR a plus, CIPP certification also a plus. Excellent project management and verbal and written communication skills.
