Corporate Attorney (Telecommunications Counsel) The candidate will assist the General Counsel in structuring and conducting corporate affairs within the confines of a broad array of laws relating to the company's telecommunications activities. This could include managing the legal relationship between BullsEye and its carrier/service partners including contracts, negotiations, escalations, and the overall relationship between BullsEye and its carrier/service partners including the negotiation and renewal of carrier/service partner contracts, interconnect agreements, identification and management of risk mitigation/savings opportunities and regulatory compliance requirements. This individual will also assist in the review process of all contracts under the direction of the General Counsel to ensure consistency and compliance with established company policy. Develops skills, abilities and provides support, assistance and back-up to Senior Leadership for existing carrier/service partners including assessment of new providers, contract negotiations, contract terms and conditions, risk management and regulatory compliance with various carrier/service partners. Monitors, renews and renegotiates carrier/service partner contracts and interconnection agreements. Initiates and completes new carrier/service partner contracts and negotiates most favorable risk and business terms. Manages Individual Case Basis ICB cost quoting to support large sales opportunities to ensure most favorable costs. Reviews client contracts during the negotiation process by analyzing all clauses, stipulations, obligations and liabilities to ensure they strike the appropriate balance between the Client and the Company. Presents and explains contract conditions and details to involved parties, including Sales, SEO and Clients. Ensures employees understand and comply with company contract terms. Analyzes potential risks involved with supplier, vendor and Client contract terms. Manages weekly, monthly and annual regulatory compliance requirements and associated filings with state and federal agencies. Provides ownership and support assistance for associated product development and product management business functions as required. Reviews, assesses and consults with outside legal counsel as required on contract legal language, terms, and conditions. Supports escalation to carrier/service partners as necessary in support of Billing, Finance, Provisioning, Care and Product Support needs and requirements including state and federal regulatory escalation items. Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with co-workers, department leadership and senior management about carrier/service partners. Stays up-to date with legislative and regulatory changes that are pertinent to the Company. Submits proposals to the General Counsel to improve the legal posture of the Company in all areas that impact the customer and vendor agreements and relationships. This would include the risk associated with intellectual property rights, use and ownership. Should have Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field. Should preferable have Masters or better in Business Administration or related field. Must have 3 years Experience in contract negotiation and management. Should preferable have 3 years: Regulatory compliance experience. 4 years Legal experience in telecommunications is preferred.
