Corporate Counsel II Duties: Provides legal advice to internal business clients both domestically and in the regions with a functional specialty of labor and benefits. Provides support for Enterprise, Regional and Affiliate, Human Resource, and employment/benefits/immigration business initiatives. Regularly counsels business teams in the company's center operations and its global affiliates about executive offer letters, employment agreements, employee separation and restructures, internal investigations disciplinary issues, compliance with employment laws, restrictive covenants, protected leaves, reasonable accommodations, wellness programs, policy development, compliance with wage and hour laws, and other labor and employment regulations. May advise on immigration and global mobility issues in and among the United States and foreign countries. Stays current on legislative, administrative and judicial decisions and trends impacting the position's area of expertise. Works with Business clients domestically and/or globally to formulate legal labor, employment, and benefits strategy that provides for Enterprise and affiliate growth by managing legal risk to acceptable business levels while seeking competitive advantage. Manages budgets and outside counsel activities. May develop, review or implement company-wide and/or functionally specific training programs. May supervise activities of paraprofessionals and administrative professionals.

Qualifications: Must have a JD Degree/ Law Degree with 8+ years related experience in Labor law. Demonstrates ability to develop and advocate legal risk and risk mitigation strategies within the framework of business plans and priorities. Developed knowledge of legal environment and trends in area of functional responsibility and ability to apply emerging law to business issues. Effectively collaborates internally and externally with peers, Division management and outside counsel.. Demonstrates business acumen and including key internal and external drivers that affect the business, including political and industry trends. Ability to manage budgets, outside counsel spend, and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and business needs. Effectively coordinate and integrates cross-functional resources to support Enterprise goal while providing guidance and support to navigate within the organization. Ability to identify and manage issues across cultures and affiliate legal environments..
