Corporate Counsel Duties: Review, edit, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts for SaaS and data services such as MSAs, partnership agreements, data vendor agreements, and NDAs. Advise on commercial contract specifics, including legal risks and the legal liabilities associated. Leverage experience working in a constructive and professional manner with sales personnel and executive management. Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams, building confidence across departments to serve as trusted legal partner. Manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure. Apply experience negotiating data processing and information security agreements, working with subject matter experts in these areas is a plus. Act as liaison between management and external counsel when necessary.
Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school. Admission (In Good Standing) to the NY State Bar or be willing to become registered in-house counsel in NY. Must have 4+ years of commercial transaction legal experience in a technology company.
