Senior Corporate Counsel - Technology Transactions and Product Development Responsibilities: Structure, draft, negotiate, and interpret critical contracts, including: development agreements, hardware manufacture and supply agreements, services agreements (including outsourcing, cloud service, SaaS software as a service, software licensing, managed services, and infrastructure as a service), software/technology licenses, and general product and service procurement agreements. Advise senior business executives and their teams on legal issues related to consumer and commercial product development and IT procurement, including intellectual property, import/export regulations, privacy and data use, consumer protection, product liability, etc. Develop an understanding of business goals and the technology necessary to achieve them. Meet with developers, engineers, product managers, and business executives on a regular basis to conduct legal reviews of business and product development activities. Collaborate with peers and leaders in legal department and other business departments to ensure project and deal outcomes align with priorities, support company goals, comply with legal requirements, and adequately mitigate enterprise risk. Field a wide range of issues related to product support (development, launch, maintenance, incident response, dispute resolution product enhancements, etc.). Serve as primary liaison between technology and commercial leadership and Legal leadership. Build scalable and effective processes for legal review and launch of consumer products.

Qualifications: A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar required. Must have 5+ years of experience structuring and drafting complex technical and commercial deals. Outstanding organizational, analytical, organization and communication skills with a strong record of effective cross-group collaboration. Demonstrated ability to recognize and weigh business and legal risks, think strategically and advance creative, practical solutions in the face of ambiguity and imperfect information. Client-oriented with a high comfort level working with demanding clients. Excellent business judgment, and a proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities. Ability spot errors in this job description and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Motivated to build a deep and broad knowledge of T-Mobile's of wireless products and services. Flexible; able to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances. Experience working in-house combined with prior law firm experience is desired, ideally working on commercial transactional, corporate, or regulatory aspects of product development in the technology space (hardware and software). Experience in industries with complex supply chains, including negotiating with OEMs/ODMs. Experience or familiarity with app distribution channel developer terms. Strong understanding of technology and digital commerce law, and intellectual property. Familiarity with cloud computing, AI, SAAS, managed service, software licensing, hardware, professional service contracting. Experience in telecom or other regulated industry. Experience working with procurement, supply chain, and/or other non-legal contract management organizations. Experience in complex commercial transactions, securities, or M&A a plus.
