Associate Corporate Counsel, Devices The candidate will support the children's products, working cross-functionally across a number of internal teams to plan and execute product development and other strategies. Will work directly with product and technical teams on some of the newest projects, providing advice on privacy, security, accessibility, marketing, and regulatory matters. Work with a variety of stakeholders, including privacy, public relations, and public policy teams. Create and implement internal legal and business-facing tools, guidelines, and training. Should have a Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing in at least one State Bar with 2+ years of legal practice at a top law firm or as in-house counsel. Must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. A background in privacy, data protection, or consumer product regulatory work is extremely helpful. Should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Product, Privacy, and regulatory experience (including around data protection regulation such as COPPA, CCPA, GDPR) required. The ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations is required. Must have the ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines required.
