Assistant General Counsel - Corporate

Assistant General Counsel - Corporate The candidate will handle, and / or manage outside counsel on, corporate transactions,'s ervice contract reviews, collections, litigations, and other legal matters. Will provide legal counsel to internal clients and manage internal legal operations projects. Retain, manage, and assist outside counsel for litigation or other matters as needed. Review and's upervise review of's ervice agreements, NDAs, and related agreements. Provide legal guidance on corporate transactions. Assist with legal operation projects, including corporate governance / recordkeeping. Protect intellectual property of the company through agreements and registrations through outside counsel. Work with collections department and outside counsel on collection issues. Advise on general legal matters while working closely with other in-house attorneys, business leaders in human resources, finance, information technology, and marketing departments. Proactively minimize legal risk to the Company and help drive legal's trategy to align and achieve business's trategic goals. Assist with development of policies and training as needed. Occasional travel required.'s hould have 5+ years of legal experience, including's ignificant in-house experience. Must have admitted to practice in New York. Must have outstanding written and verbal communication's kills. Employment law / HR experience a plus. Experience in building's ervices, real estate management, or's imilar industries a plus.
