Associate Corporate Counsel The candidate will review, draft and negotiate advertising (digital), data, ad tech, advertising agency, strategic partnership, and other commercial agreements - MSAs, NDAs, vendor agreements and the like, Assist with compliance matters related to data and privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and other, Provide timely, pragmatic, legal advice on a wide range of legal matters in the areas of technology, content and other licensing, advertising sales, privacy, intellectual property, Maintain an understanding of the latest developments in the law and technology, especially as they relate to digital media, advertising/marketing, data usage and privacy and health law, Assist with other company legal matters including intellectual property, general corporate, litigation, employment and more, as needs arise, JD required, 3-5 years (preferred) of combined law firm and in-house legal counsel experience in a startup or digital media, advertising/technology company, Good knowledge of data and privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA, Knowledge of, and experience with, advertising industry self-regulatory guidelines and policies including NAI code, DAA code, IAB (ad terms), MRC, etc, Excellent and extensive drafting, organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail, Effectiveness in managing project expectations, Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, Good client skills are required.
