Senior Corporate Counsel The candidate will work closely with legal colleagues and work directly with multiple firms' business functions globally in procurement, design, transportation, and logistics, construction and operations as firms continue to invest in opportunities for addressing the sustainability of its operations and meeting its commitment to respecting human rights. Principal duties include (i) supporting cross-functional sustainability initiatives; (ii) driving environmental initiatives (in relation to facilities, products, and transportation) and human rights and other social responsibility initiatives; (iii) monitoring and advising on salient policy and regulatory changes; (iv) providing legal support to FIRMS teams developing sustainability initiatives; (v) acting as a centralized resource for legal and public policy colleagues also working with teams supporting these initiatives.
The candidate should have 10+ years of legal experience. Must have 7+ years of experience providing legal counsel and support for sustainability matters. A J.D. degree (or equivalent) and membership in good standing in at least one State Bar (or equivalent) are required. A combination of law firm and in-house experience is preferred.
