Corporate Counsel Duties: Draft and negotiate travel technology and supply agreements with partners throughout the world. Be the lead lawyer supporting the Group's global in-destination activities business and property management software business. Advise business clients on new products, complex regulatory matters, pre-litigation disputes, and strategic business initiatives. Partner with legal colleagues and stakeholders in government affairs, product, engineering, tax, and other teams on key lodging and activities supply initiatives. Develop, implement, and maintain contract templates and other legal processes to drive value and efficiency for the business and the legal department. Manage outside counsel and budgets for legal services.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree or equivalent with Membership in at least one State Bar. 3+ years of experience and substantial experience at a top law firm or an in-house legal department. Experience with complex commercial transactions, and comfortable dealing with regulatory, consumer protection, competition, privacy, and intellectual property matters. Self-starter. Ability to step out of your legal role and provide business advice. Ability to make pragmatic decisions and recommendations even in ambiguous situations. Ability to own relationships with senior executives and establish constructive working relationships with business clients, legal colleagues, and other stakeholders.
