Corporate Counsel Duties: Providing drafting, negotiation, and onboarding support for vendor management, general support for the sales team, assisting with foreign affiliate compliance, and preparing reports to and for SADA's shareholders and Board of Directors.
Qualifications: BA or BS degree. JD from an accredited U.S. law school. Active admission and license to practice law in at least one state (NY or CA preferred). 2-4 years or more of legal experience, preferably with at least 1-2 years spent in-house at a high-growth SaaS or software licensing company. Experienced in negotiating commercial contracts - in particular, SaaS client contracts (MSAs, SOWs, customer license agreements, and related). Some grounding in data privacy (GDPR/CCPA), corporate governance, and M&A experience is also very helpful. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of data privacy/cyber risk, CCPA/GDPR, internal controls, corporate governance. Supervisory experience building and managing legal teams.
