Corporate Counsel, Specialty Care The candidate' must have 7+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience to join Legal Department as Corporate Counsel responsible for products (both investigational and marketed) managed. Should have experience counseling in-house clients on the sale and marketing of pharmaceutical products and legal matters of importance to the pharmaceutical industry. Will serve as the primary legal contact for marketed and investigational products within the Specialty Care portfolio, advise internal groups including Commercial, Sales, Medical Affairs, and others; and focus both on global and US issues. Should have substantive working knowledge is expected regarding US federal and state laws and regulations relating to the pharmaceutical industry, including US federal healthcare program requirements under the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Transparency Provisions (Sunshine Act) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and US antitrust laws. Sensitivity to relevant privacy laws is also required. Experience working globally, including a familiarity with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation and other laws and regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical industry outside of the US, is a plus.
