Corporate Counsel, Registry, IP Operations Candidate will provide day-to-day advice to business clients on a wide range of legal and strategic issues, such as contractual compliance, intellectual property, privacy, and marketing. Will structure, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements; manage ICANN compliance and other regulatory obligations; engage with ICANN and the ICANN community to shape internet policy; and work closely with business clients to launch innovative uses of Amazon s TLDs.

Qualifications: JD degree and membership in good standing in at least one state bar. 5+ years of legal experience as an attorney. Commercial counseling and transactional experience. must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, have a sense of humor, be business minded and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. Preferred: Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with ICANN, registries, registrars, domain names, and internet-related legal and policy issues.
