Principal Counsel - Corporate Transactions, Consumer Payments The candidate will work on enterprise consumer payment projects and transactions in close collaboration with the Company's Treasury group and other business stakeholders, including Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution (including streaming services) and Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. Negotiate complex agreements with domestic and international payment processors, payment network associations, payment wallets and gateways, and other payment method providers. Provide legal advice to, and structure, draft and negotiate agreements for, the Company's co-branded credit and debit card program and the Company's gift card program. Provide legal advice to the Company's Treasury group and other business stakeholders on a global basis regarding consumer payment and related issues. Advise the Company on emerging payment issues, including non-fungible tokens, cryptocurrency, and decentralized finance. Should have a Law degree from an accredited law school and a licensed attorney. Should preferably have a Significant corporate transactional experience, including substantial experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Should have 6-10 years of experience managing and running complex corporate transactions. Experience at a large multinational law firm with an internationally recognized corporate practice. Must have strong communication and project management skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Must have understood legal responsibility and exhibits the highest degree of honesty, integrity, and respect. Must have strong drafting and writing skills, together with solid business and financial acumen, proven track record as a skilled negotiator with the ability to identify and allocate risk and assess financial trade-offs. Must be organized and detailed, along with exhibiting good judgment. The ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons of all levels. Must have strong time management to execute high-priority projects.
