Corporate Counsel, International Consumer Exports And Expansion Legal

Corporate Counsel Duties: The candidate will work with the International Exports & Global Store business teams to develop new lines of business and innovative ways to move goods across global websites and beyond. Develop strategies for handling legal issues and regulatory challenges in creative, business-centric ways for a business that is operating in a rapidly shifting and ambiguous legal environment. Build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

Required Qualifications: Strong academic qualifications, including a US Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or an equivalent international law degree. Membership in good standing in at least one state or foreign Bar. Should have10+ years of experience working as an attorney, primarily in a transactional practice, with some portion working at a leading international law firm, top-tier regional US firm, or in-house at a multinational company. Experience analyzing and synthesizing laws across multiple countries or similar international cross-border experiences. Exceptional analytical and writing skills (in English). Flexible work schedule to accommodate international time zones and occasional international travel. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trade/product compliance or in a technology-focused practice. Ability to work independently while contributing successfully to cross-functional and international teams. Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
