Senior Corporate Counsel Duties: Partner closely with business leads and assume significant authority and accountability for outcomes. Structure, draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements (partnership, M&A, vendor). Handle compliance for content and intellectual property matters. Provide practical advice and solutions to internal business partners on all related legal matters. Manage agreements (in the US and globally) to ensure all legal documents remain consistent.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor and membership in good standing (CA/NY preferred). Should have 8+ years of related experience, with proficiency in employment, M&A and general corporate matters. Experience working in-house providing in-house support for streaming, entertainment or tech companies preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills; you are a go-getter who thrives in a non-structured, high-volume, fast-paced environment and you are not afraid to take initiative. Strong knowledge of merchandising, marketing, events, advertising tech, vendor and service agreements. Practical knowledge of the digital VOD, TV, film and tech industries preferred. Excellent drafting and organizational skills with strict attention to detail and an ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once, and follow through to meet and communicate deadlines.
