Corporate Attorney - Vice President The candidate will be drafting, negotiating and reviewing a broad variety of commercial, technology / intellectual property, and vendor agreements, including technology agreements on both the vendor and recipient side, trading platform agreements, intercompany loans, bank account documentation, market data agreements, consulting services agreements, event agreements and other services agreements. Providing legal analysis of risks associated with all phases of firm projects, g., from RFP, through contracting, to project implementation. Advising management of ways to address, manage and mitigate identified risks. General business counseling and advisory services. Should be an experienced attorney with varied / generalist skill set, with significant in-house experience, or currently a law firm counsel or partner, each with a basic level of technology licensing and data handling experience / familiarity. Ability / experience handling contracts in a large organizational setting, including interfacing with stakeholders and assessing and presenting risks and issues to drive decision-making by management. Ability / experience handling market data and other technology / IP contracts in a financial services context, including license scope, usage, IP issues, etc. Experience advising varied in-house departments on non-IP commercial matters. Ability / experience with corporate secretarial matters and insurance procurement/risk management experience a plus. M&A / transactional experience a plus. Quick learner, open to working on varied matters.
