Senior Corporate Counsel, Specialty Care Responsibilities: Partnering with and advising senior business leaders to facilitate compliant execution of strategy and achievement of objectives, which could include ensuring clients are kept abreast of relevant legal developments; advising on strategic initiatives and business operation plans; identifying and analyzing risks and proposing appropriate solutions to ensure compliance with law and company policy; coordinating and assisting in securing legal counsel from other Sanofi attorneys globally; and providing specific US legal advice.

Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school and a valid license to practice law (Massachusetts or New Jersey license is preferred). Must have 10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience. Experience counseling in-house clients on the sale and marketing of pharmaceutical products and legal matters of importance to the pharmaceutical industry. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while still meeting high quality and timeliness standards. The ability to effectively communicate legal advice in a simple and straightforward manner, including the ability to understand and digest complex scenarios; identify and evaluate relevant legal issues and risks; propose solutions that take into consideration the relevant business objectives; and communicate issues, risks, and solutions clearly and concisely to lawyers and non-lawyers
