Compensation: Competitive salary, bonus and benefits package Corporate Compliance Counsel - Remote Veradigm is looking for a Corporate Compliance Counsel to join their team and provide compliance, legal and regulatory support to in-house clients concerning their business, products and services. This is a fully remote opportunity. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will have: - Undergraduate degree and JD (must be from an accredited law school) - In good standing and admitted to at least one state bar in the United States - Minimum 5-10 years of compliance, legal and regulatory experience as inhouse counsel or a corporate compliance professional working for a life science and/or health IT company - Deep understanding of and experience with providing advice concerning healthcare fraud and abuse laws, including the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act, as well as the 21st Century Cures Act and information blocking compliance - Prior experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation - 4+ years leadership and management experience - Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills - Knowledge of general corporate and compliance issues - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Responsibilities The Corporate Compliance Counsel will be responsible for: - Assisting the Chief Compliance Counsel in implementing and enhancing Veradigm s compliance program - Advising company personnel regarding compliance, legal and regulatory matters impacting the health IT sector - Reviewing and providing guidance on proposed advertising, product related communications and issues, digital social media engagement and scientific / research materials and other initiatives to help ensure for compliance with applicable laws and company policies - Drafting/reviewing, negotiating, and approving commercial transactions - Developing new and enhancing existing compliance-related policies and procedures - Developing and delivering compliance and legal training to employees - Conducting investigations of alleged violations of laws, regulations and company policies - Identifying compliance risk areas through a risk assessment process and other means and implementing plans to resolve compliance issues - Designing and implementing compliance monitoring and testing Compensation Veradigm offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package for the role of Corporate Compliance Counsel.
