Counsel - Corporate Law
The candidate will be responsible for counseling on a wide variety of corporate law matters. Responsibilities include, support of: the company's debt and debt offerings; the company's Treasury Department requirements including ISDAs, Credit Agreements, Commercial Paper and Dividend and Stock Repurchase Programs; the company's Tax Department Corporate Law requirements; company subsidiary formation, compliance and maintenance; the company's Board of Directors and/or Board Committee meeting support; updating and monitoring procedures and processes of the Corporate Law Group; and other research and corporate law projects as needed.
The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law. Must have 2 years of experience practicing corporate law. Should preferably have 4+ years of experience practicing corporate law in a nationally recognized law firm and/or in-house corporate environment. Licensing and M&A experience is a plus.
