Intellectual Property Licensing Professional
The candidate will investigate instances of third party patent infringement. Will identify and prepare business cases to identify potential licensees. Negotiate and execute patent license agreements. Maintain a thorough up-to-date knowledge of IP licensing and the business environment involved in. Research information relating to the products and services of candidate licensees.
The candidate should have an undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred) in electronics, electrical engineering or physics. Patent agent or attorney would be preferred. Must have direct experience and demonstrable results in the patent licensing/commercialization space including a proven track record in pursuing and closing licensing transactions. Should have the ability to develop working relationships with legal, business and technical personnel as well as effectively interfacing with potential licensees. Must maintain current market knowledge as well as a familiarity and understanding of market areas and development pipelines for potential licensees.
