The candidate will oversee a team and lead gas records and information management program activities, which will include governance, administration and corresponding people, process and technology RIM program components. The candidate will serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions that private equity and strategic corporate entities pursue. Will identify and analyze tax risks and opportunities while advising both strategic and private equity buyers and sellers on alternative tax strategies for acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of businesses. Assist in reviewing and analyzing merger agreements and providing opinion letters. Review, assess, and advise clients regarding the tax computations reflected in their financial models, and assist clients in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tax data in their financial projections for the transaction.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience OR a Graduate degree and 3 years of related work experience. An accounting major OR a Master's degree in accounting, MST or J.D./LL.M. would be preferred. Certification as a CPA, Enrolled Agent or Attorney required. Must have 4+ years of relevant tax experience. M&A tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post acquisition planning experience preferred. Must be willing and able to travel, when necessary.

Manage the delivery of a full range of international tax services and advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy. Consult with clients on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, effective use of tax treaties, planning related to offshore investments activities and repatriation programs to minimize US and foreign income taxes of US-based multinational clients, minimizing worldwide tax burdens on business transactions and operations, and making effective foreign investments. Conduct primary and secondary review of complicated or complex international tax returns. Work closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA, Master's in Taxation, LL.M. in Taxation, or J.D. degree is needed. Must have 5-7 years of progressive tax consulting experience, preferably with 3+ years of focused on international taxation. Experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is required. Should have excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance and consulting. Experience with inbound and outbound transaction consulting, multinational corporation experience, transfer pricing, foreign tax credit utilization, and tax minimization is needed.
