Must have 3+ years of tax and/or financial planning or relevant experience. A CPA, EA, JD, or CFP or other related experience or certification relevant to an area of specialization is required. A commitment to learning in a tax and financial planning technology environment is needed. Proficiency in technology applications is a must.

International Tax Senior Associate
The candidate will work closely with staff on all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients within International Accounting Firm. Will review complex international tax returns and deliver international tax services for a variety of industries; prepare more complex international tax returns; develop and supervise staff; and assist in client management and practice development activities. Provide international tax services that provide measurable value and advise clients from a range of different industries on international tax matters. Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on international tax projects and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews. Perform in-charge role as needed. Review complex business returns with international complexities and make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities. Gain increasing responsibility in review process. Research and analyze international and domestic tax issues. Utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters. Write and review tax advice for the client. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA, Master's in Taxation, or LL.M. in Taxation preferred. Must have 2-4 years of progressive tax consulting experience, preferably with 1+ year focused on international taxation. Experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company required.
