Tax Counsel

Irving TX Tax Counsel The candidate will provide research, analysis, advice and presentations with respect to federal domestic and international income tax and other tax matters (such as transactional tax planning, tax compliance, tax treaty matters and transfer pricing). Will manage and implement tax planning and other projects; (iii) support the resolution of tax disputes such as tax audits, competent authority proceedings and litigation in both the US and foreign jurisdictions; and review and analyze proposed legislation and regulations for comments and recommendations. Must have Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school and member in good standing of a State Bar. LLM in Taxation is preferred. Professional Circular 230 judgement needed. Audit experience a plus (IRS and state tax authorities). Should be proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software. Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated internet connection and landline phone. Strong customer service skills - ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a way that is professional, friendly and reassuring.
