Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, analyzing and negotiating standard and non-standard agreements such as NDAs, SaaS, other software and technology licenses, reseller/channel partner, terms of use, independent contractor, vendor, and professional services agreements. Using excellent interpersonal and communication skills to advise our internal teams on business and legal risks both in contracts and other matters faces. Assisting with and/or leading other projects and matters in areas which will include: privacy law, compliance issues in the US and abroad, marketing, information security, intellectual property, US and International employment matters, and other legal and regulatory issues. Structuring, drafting and maintaining standard and template licenses and other agreements. Providing creative, business-minded solutions to issues that arise more generally in connection with the day to day business of BlueJeans. Assisting in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures, administration, playbooks, tracking, and contract templates. Developing scalable processes and other internal policies and procedures. Engaging, working closely with, and managing outside counsel as needed. Other projects as needed to support the broader legal function.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and JD Degree. Admission to the California Bar. 5+ years of relevant experience, with a mixture of in-house (preferably at a fast-paced cloud- or software-based company) and law firm experience preferred. Extensive experience and skills in negotiating, structuring, drafting, and reviewing complex software and other agreements. Experience with data privacy and information security issues. Experience with other legal areas encountered by a company with offices around the world, including intellectual property, marketing, and export control compliance. Ability to take initiative, and prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a very fast paced environment; a strong desire to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to explain complex legal matters and the balance between benefits and risks to BlueJeans. Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional demeanor needed to interact and partner with all departments, levels and types of customers.
