Corporate Counsel The candidate will : Provide daily support to marketing stakeholders in the enterprise marketing function, the corporate responsibility and sustainability ( CRS ) function business groups and lines of business; Advise and provide support on marketing related issues relating to procurement, events, creative content, advertising, competitions and give-aways, PR, sponsorship, digital marketing, website compliance, joint marketing and marketing campaigns; will assist and support on various CRS related initiatives; Review, draft and negotiate a variety of marketing and CRS related agreements, including master services agreements, event production agreements, creative content agreements (e.g. video production agreements), website related agreement, sponsorship agreements, competition and giveaway terms and conditions, joint marketing agreements, joint webinar agreements and collaboration agreements; Provide marketing related data privacy advice and support and advise on marketing aspects of commercial deals. Craft, manage and maintain marketing related precedents and know-how materials and provide education and training to the business. The candidate should have licensed to practice law in at least one state with relevant legal experience. Excellent academic credentials. Should have relevant marketing related experience, likely to have been gained in private practice or in-house in an intellectual property law environment. Able to demonstrate a common sense, practical approach and a willingness to work both in a team and on own initiative. Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to integrate quickly into the existing team and work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organisation, with strong influencing and listening skills. Highly motivated and willing to drive issues through to conclusion. Good commercial awareness. Capable of working autonomously to manage own caseload and associated prosecution deadlines, whilst also being able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within both the trademarks team and wider cross-functional teams on other projects. Creativity and innovation are also meaningful behaviours you will possess to solve problems presented to the group and also improve the operational effectiveness of the team. Experience or knowledge of the following would be advantageous: In-house experience; Technology industry experience; Interest in technology; Data privacy (including GDPR) experience; Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
