Corporate Counsel - Compliance The candidate will assist in the design and implementation of company-wide compliance programs and initiatives. Will advise the Company on strategic responses to legal and regulatory compliance matters across the company, including in the areas of ethics, anti-corruption, privacy, and global trade controls. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage, develop and support a compliance framework, including development of policies and procedures to monitor and oversee the company s ongoing compliance with global regulatory requirements. Draft memoranda providing legal analysis and risk-based recommendations regarding the compliance rules and regulations (advertising & promotion, fraud & abuse, anti-kickback, and privacy) implicated by proposed or existing business strategies. Assist with the development and presentation of compliance training modules. Investigate compliance issues and assist with investigation reports. Manage various litigation and regulatory matters as they may arise. Advise on global privacy law compliance, including California Privacy Act, GDPR, cybersecurity, data protection, data retention, data security, and data breach rules. Provide specialist consultation and support to other key functions (Engineering, Product, Commercial, Technology, Corporate Communications) as necessary. Should have JD from a nationally recognized law school. Should have Membership with the California State Bar. Should have 3-5 years experience practicing law in-house or in a law firm (applicable compliance, litigation, regulatory, or privacy experienced). Experience advising or working in technology company in a legal capacity preferred.
