Associate Corporate Counsel The Candidate will be responsible to provide strategic advice and counsel to internal clients, including business and legal affairs, creative executives, HR professionals, business leaders and production teams regarding labor laws and union contractual obligations. Assist with drafting and negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Managing litigation, government agency investigations, audits and administrative charges, as well as the assessment, selection, and supervision of outside counsel.
The candidate should have J.D. degree and membership in good standing in one state bar with 2+ years of attorney experience is required. Experience serving as legal counsel for an entertainment industry guild, motion picture studio, production company, and/or network is required. Experience managing guild and union relationships. Experience drafting and negotiating talent, union, and guild agreements. Membership in good standing in the California bar. A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience at a motion picture studio, production company, or network.
