Associate Corporate Counsel, Real Estate Legal Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate design, development and construction agreements for projects of varying sizes and complexity from small interior lease fit outs or tenant improvements works to ground up construction of entire campuses. Advise corporate real estate business on a variety of real estate issues such as landlord/tenant disputes, interpretation of transactional documents, development and construction issues and the implementation of business strategy and master planning. Manage specialist real estate and construction outside counsel and monitor legal spend to ensure timely and efficient completion of transactions and delivery of construction projects. Drafting and negotiating a broad range of real property acquisition and use agreements, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, assignments, subleases, licenses, and easements. Manage complex real estate projects and transactions and lead cross-functional teams in a wide range of departments.

Qualifications: JD Degree or equivalent degree. Admitted to the bar in which position is located and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status). 3 years of attorney-level experience in a law firm or in house legal department. Commercial lawyer with experience in real estate and construction matters. Preferred qualifications: Experience in a broad range of legal issues impacting real estate transactions in the technology space. Ability to distill and prioritize complex and urgent legal issues. Demonstrated business judgment, with flexibility, initiative and willingness to work on a variety of sophisticated real estate legal matters. Ability to manage a high volume of projects and teams simultaneously under deadline pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills a must. Ability to travel on short notice if required.
