Corporate Counsel - Antitrust Duties: Actively participate in merger and acquisition related filings and reviews, as well as antitrust inquiries, investigations, and litigation in the US and the rest of the world. Review internal communications, business strategy and marketing presentations, competitive intelligence, business approvals and other documents. Interview internal personnel; participate in strategy sessions; and draft and edit filings and presentations. Develop and conduct engaging and compelling training sessions for other legal and business personnel. Provide general antitrust advice and support across a wide spectrum of business issues for clients in all lines of business of the company. Some travel required (when travel restrictions are eased).
Qualifications: 7+ years of practice in the area of US antitrust law, with 2 years in private practice at a top firm. In-house experience is also preferred. Experience in IT markets preferred over experience in other markets not related to Oracle's core business. Experience in partner/channel issues is also very valuable. Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task and work both in teams and independently. Well-developed ability to establish relationships of confidence and trust with clients and colleagues. Engaging and prepared to speak up with opinions and suggestions.
