Associate Corporate Counsel

Associate Corporate Counsel Duties: Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complicated technology, distribution, licensing, marketing, production services, and other commercial agreements. Providing ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, including intellectual property (e.g., the IP clearance), digital media, and regulatory compliance. Serving as lead counsel on strategic deals, while also providing day-to-day legal advice. Working directly with the business and developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways.

Qualifications: A Juris Doctor degree and active membership in one State Bar are required. 2+ years of legal experience. Must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience drafting talent agreements, navigating guild issues, in entertainment production counseling and licensing. In-house experience is a plus. Team player and consensus builder who can effectively collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business leaders throughout the organization. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow-through, and meet deadlines.
