Corporate Attorney Responsibilities: Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice and solutions to support business teams in meeting strategic and commercial goals and enhancing customer relationships. Review, negotiate and draft a variety of commercial agreements, waivers, disclaimers, quality requirements, marketing materials and other documents supporting the marketing, sales and qualification of products. Assist business teams with planning and development of new product initiatives and growing opportunities in existing and future market segments. Provide legal support relating to semiconductor industry related standards, including standards relating to emerging technologies for mobile, networking, AI, automotive, IOT, medical, cyber security and other applications. Perform a vital cross-functional role with other legal groups, and with supply chain, engineering, quality, security and other organizations, in connection with a variety of operational, commercial, compliance and risk related matters. Provide proactive legal support regarding safety designated products, and assist to identify and monitor potential safety concerns related to technology applications. Manage and regularly follow up on matters and interact with outside counsel. Qualifications: JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school with high academic achievement and Bar admission and current membership in good standing within the United States is required (or an equivalent from a foreign jurisdiction). An excellent working and practical knowledge of commercial law across geographies and practice and 10+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Experience in drafting, negotiating and problem solving in a cross jurisdictional environment. Experience defining and reviewing quality requirements, agreements and claims. A strong executive presence in interactions with senior leadership. A demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others, including an experienced business perspective and high degree of ethics and integrity, as well as strategic/conceptual thinking capabilities. Experience working in an in-house legal environment is required. Prior experience in a top law firm and corporate experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred. Outstanding interpersonal relationships and business acumen with in-depth familiarity with at least three of the above mentioned industries.
