Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Support the Firm's trade compliance program with key responsibilities. Provide support on all ongoing activities related to export control laws and regulations. Assist in company-wide compliance programs and initiatives as well as special projects that support and enhance Cadence's trade compliance program initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Sales, and R&D.
Qualifications: A J.D. Degree or foreign equivalent and membership in at least one U.S. State Bar in good standing. 5+ years of attorney experience for a law firm and/or in-house with a multinational corporation. U.S. Experience in the software or technology industries is desirable as is a willingness to travel occasionally. Experience in regulatory compliance and monitoring. Resourceful self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and strong analytical skills.
