Corporate Counsel Ethics And Enablement

Corporate Counsel - Ethics and Enablement DUTIES: Manage the regular review and updating of the company's Code of Ethics policy. Implement and oversee training to ensure awareness, understanding, and compliance with the Code of Ethics and other ethics policies and procedures, including both initial training and annual refreshers and updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Communications, Global Talent, and Legal Operations to align and incorporate Code of Ethics with other enterprise initiatives. Design and lead function-specific risk assessments to identify key ethics risks, ensure ethics controls are designed and operating to mitigate those risks, ensure effective monitoring and testing, and ensure appropriate and clear action plans are taken to identify, remediate and prevent violations of ethics-related policies and procedures. Design and lead an innovative strategy for incorporating innovative tools and processes that result in a user-driven and effective ethics education and awareness program. Increase employee awareness and actively promoting the importance of ethics throughout the entire organization. Assist in preparation of Ethics and Compliance Reports for Board of Directors. Provide strategic guidance and regular feedback to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer regarding the design and operation of the company's ethics program, key risks and issues, emerging trends, and the adequacy and effectiveness of ethics program operations and resourcing.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. State Bar. Should have 8+ years of attorney experience with Ethics and Code of Conduct Issues. Must have a strong work ethic, exceptional judgment, and uncompromising integrity; passion for developing a culture of compliance through education and awareness; excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong and deep working relationships with internal stakeholders over multiple geographical locations; and a practical, proactive, collaborative and business-focused approach to problem-solving with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
