Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: May include providing drafting, negotiation and onboarding support for vendor management, general support for the sales team, assisting with foreign affiliate compliance and preparing reports to and for shareholders and Board of Directors.
Requirements: BA or BS degree. JD Degree from an accredited U.S. law school. Active admission and license to practice law in at least one state (NY or CA preferred). 2-4 years or more of legal experience, preferably with 1-2 years' spent in-house at a high-growth SaaS or software licensing company. Understanding of data privacy/cyber risk, CCPA/GDPR, internal controls, corporate governance. Supervisory experience building and managing legal teams.
