Corporate Counsel, Litigation & Employment Responsibilities: Support various employment law matters throughout the employee lifecycle, including employment policies and contracts, performance issues, severance, employee benefits, anti-discrimination/harassment, wage and hour, OFCCP compliance, and other laws regulating employment. Assist with monitoring and advising on laws relating to the pandemic and drafting COVID-19 protocols and policies. Help coordinate and implement company-wide compliance training. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. Assist with supporting existing and potential litigation, including license compliance and employment matters across several US and international jurisdictions. Furnish reports on active and potential litigation. Support settlements in mediations and arbitrations. Coordinate internally and with outside counsel regarding access to company personnel and data. Support subpoena and other third-party requests for data. Supervise, facilitate and monitor legal holds and discovery. Investigate and assist in investigation of allegations of employee misconduct and potential violations of laws.

Qualifications: JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school; Admission to the California State Bar in good standing; 4-6 years of related experience with a firm or corporate legal department; Superior legal writing skills with a high level of attention to detail; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Sound judgment, flexibility, and ability to work independently while collaborating across business units; Team player that wants to pitch in and help with a positive attitude. Prior work with technology companies preferred.
