Corporate Counsel The candidate will draft, negotiate and review a wide variety of existing and new contracts with outside vendors, customers and internal business stakeholders. Ensure company agreements address risk management concerns, information security and privacy issues and other pertinent issues. Assist with the U.S. and international regulatory compliance. Assist with requests related to employee matters. Assist with privacy and corporate governance-related matters. Handle other legal matters as may arise. Should have a JD degree, active California Bar or eligible to become Registered In-House Counsel, practicing for 6+ years with in-house (and preferably big law firm) experience. Demonstrate strong background, knowledge and skills in contracts. Experience with a regulated industry preferred. Strong oral and written communication, drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to provide clear and concise, business-oriented legal advice. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate organizational skills and a self-starter with a strong work ethic, and an ability to prioritize and manage projects to completion with minimal direction. Common sense and sound business judgment.
