USOGC, M&A/Corporate Attorney (Director Level) Duties: Support team to disrupt, improve, and evolve ways of working when necessary. Drive and take ownership of developing connections that help deliver what is best for people and stakeholders. Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate. 5+ year(s) of progressively responsible post-qualification legal experience in the field of corporate law, either at a recognized law firm (or a combination of law firm and in-house). Admitted to practice law in at least one US state and is in good standing. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader emphasizing the following areas: Possessing experience in general corporate law, mergers, and acquisitions, commercial transactions and contracts, regulatory analysis, corporate governance. Understanding, in the context of commercial contracting/transactions, or credit/financing matters, corporate secretarial matters, cross-border contracting, employment/tax/IP matters. Identifying legal issues in business proposals proactively. Assessing legal risk, proposing solutions, and escalating important issues to firm leadership. Working independently and on a time-sensitive basis, and managing multiple competing priorities. Translating complex legal and regulatory issues for a business audience. Managing teams of internal staff and outside counsel, and oversee complex projects; and, demonstrating legal negotiation, analysis, and drafting skills.
