Corporate Attorney Duties: Provide guidance and problem solving on a full range of legal issues, including HIPAA and data privacy, sales and partner contracts, vendor management, insurance, risk management, intellectual property, employment, governance, financings, and other general corporate matters. Work primarily with the sales and partner teams, negotiating strategic enterprise and technology/service licensing agreements and assisting with IBH s expansion. Typical transactions will range from standard contracts to complex high-dollar value strategic agreements. Provide legal input on existing and new business relationships. Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures in connection with the Company s business operations. Support all departments in connection with legal and/or contractual requests.
Qualifications: JD degree with excellent academic credentials and current bar membership in good standing. Should have 7+ years of legal experience post-law school at a law firm or in-house technology or healthcare company. Experience working in a demanding, high-paced, high-volume transaction environment. Strong transactional experience, with expert drafting and negotiation skills. Strong knowledge and experience with HIPAA and data privacy or a strong. Knowledge about Knox Keene and EAP services and products is a plus. Understanding of privacy regulations. Strong familiarity with IT/technology transactions and healthcare sales transactions. Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communications skills. Able to prioritize appropriately and manage multiple tasks.
